Today the 2025 State of the Cryosphere report was published by over 50 leading cryosphere scientists. An urgent warning about the global consequences of the meltdown of ice, including the risk of shutdown of the Atlantic Ocean current system #AMOC. 🌊 iccinet.org/statecryo25/

Did you know we still have enough ice on our Earth now to raise global sea level by 65 meters if it were to all melt?

It was warmer during the Medieval Warm Period. Farming in Greenland (actually how it got its name🤔), Vineyards in the UK - and through paintings we know the water level was the same as today.

Hoax. There’s more ice on the planet than there has been for most of the Phanerozoic.

Truly sobering science. As a Canadian, I feel our slow policy shift is risking everything-nature, communities, future. Thanks for keeping the urgency front and center! 🙏

I’ve rarely seen a link such far from science claimed to be science. Even the word ”temperature” is misunderstood there. Why sharing?

A large % of folks (at least in US) have become immune to details. Their eyes gloss over if there are more than 10 sentences in an explanation. Show them a chart or graph & they run. Just like most can’t visualize $1T, most folks can’t comprehend the xtent of the danger.

Alarming but vital findings in the cryosphere report. We must act now to protect our ice systems and oceans. Every bit of action counts! 🌍

Funny to see that between 1850 and 2000 +1.2° did not change nothing. But sure the next +1.2° will be catastrophic

Antartica has had record levels of ice for the past 4 to 5 years. These "leading cryosphere scientists" need to start looking for a different profession.

.....scrolls past more nonsensical alarmism from the ever increasing bs from Rahmsdorf.

Is the meltdown of ice unprecedented?

Cop-out30 climate fear propaganda. Stop the scare tactics. Pure propaganda pushing an agenda

We heard since the 1980s that the cryosphere will collapse in 10 years. Your kindergarten models are still B/S

If the Atlantic current shuts down and the polar vortex collapses then we are in for a harsh winter. 😂

The exact kind of nonsense that should make you all realize this is made up fear mongering. Current system functioned just fine when the earth was multiple degrees warmer… they are pulling it out of their ass

Shut up you moron.

If the Gulf Stream stops, there is a dramatic drop in temperature, creating an ice age. A normal process in earth's history.

Anyone who believes these liars is a retard..... They are grifters looking to steal money to solve a problem that does not exist..........They are criminals

Fake predictions that never come true are the hallmark of the climate alarmist. We have a real concern with the North Pole movement and magnetic shift that you don’t ever even address.
