Pessimists sound smart. Optimists make money Gloom sells: A study found that negative words in headlines drive more clicks, while positive ones make people scroll past. It is the same in startups and venture capital. ▫️ It is easy to explain why a company will fail ▫️ It is hard to imagine how big it could become if it works Most of the time, the skeptics are right. Startups usually fail. But every great company began as something that looked impossible — and every legendary investor learned to see what others dismissed. The hard part is not finding what is broken. It is believing in what could work and backing it before anyone else does. That is how founders change industries. And how VCs make history :)

🧨 The man who saw 2008 coming just called AI the next bubble Michael Burry, the “Big Short” investor who predicted the housing crash, is now betting against Nvidia and Palantir. His fund, Scion Asset Management, disclosed more than 1 billion dollars in put options on the two AI giants. ▫️ Nvidia recently became the world’s first 5 trillion dollar company ▫️ Palantir is up 174 percent this year Burry’s message was simple: “Sometimes we see bubbles. Sometimes the only winning move is not to play.” When someone who built his career spotting bubbles starts shorting the leaders of the AI boom, the market listens. He might be early. He might be contrarian. But his track record speaks loudly. If his thesis holds, this could become 2008 rewritten in code and silicon. What do you think? Is this foresight or fear?

The FAKE MRR era has officially come to an end 🎉
Bye Bye fake MRR screenshots 👋 I built TrustMRR.com, the database of verified startup revenues. 1. Upload a read-only Stripe API key 2. Get a free page showing your verified revenue 3. And a nice dofollow backlink as a bonus There's no way to game the system. It's all running on my server, and users can't edit the revenue data. + It comes with the leaderboard of startups with the most revenue in the last 30 days. Go get verified!
