We are hiring… but we are looking for unique folks to join as members of technical staff… cracked physicists & AI researchers/engineers who love nerding out on AdS/CFT or running BH merger sims for fun as much as they obsess over RL algos & MLOps… in both SF & Boston… DM me…

1/ The future of general-purpose robotics will be decided by one major question: which flavor of data scales reasoning? Every major lab represents a different bet. Over the past 3 months, @adam_patni, @vriishin, and I read the core research papers, spoke with staff at the major labs, and mapped the talent pool. This has completely changed how we think about general-purpose robotics. Our paper builds intuition, step-by step, across the 2025 frontier: from architectures → evals → data → industry dynamics. Each layer reveals a different bottleneck, but they all converge on one truth—data decides everything. Our takeaways + process below👇 If you want access to our graph (sound on), comment or DM me
Insane story Thank you Josh for putting New Jersey on the map
This is the category-defining profile of one of the most important figures and institutions in American business, investing, and technology. Joshua Kushner and Thrive Capital. Kushner and his partners speak, as do Sam Altman, Jony Ive, Demis Hassabis, and John Collison. It’s a story of the American dream. One that travels from the Holocaust in Eastern Europe through postwar Budapest, a refugee camp in Rome, Cold War New York and New Jersey, post-9/11 America, the recent history of venture capital, the AI revolution, wartime Israel, and Rick Rubin’s backyard. It tells, with fresh eyes and ears, what happened during the 2023 OpenAI coup attempt. It takes you inside critical moments at Stripe and GitHub. And it shows how Kushner’s team of émigré and provincial castaways built Thrive into a rampart for the American experiment. The ending will give you goosebumps. By @jeremysternla. Only in Colossus.

Lets go!! @m0ldilocks
Three years ago I got sick from something most people overlook: mold exposure. Today, that journey comes full circle: we’re announcing MoldCo’s $8M Seed (total $11M), led by @cantos + @collabfund, to build the new standard of care for mold and chronic inflammation. The mission is clear: to serve patients who’ve waited far too long for answers. To celebrate, we’re giving away 50 free lab tests. Comment “labs” to claim one and we’ll DM you!

I want to bring together young investors across asset classes in New York. I always find value speaking with people outside of venture in private equity, L/S equities, credit, real estate, etc. Who should I meet? Who would be interested in a monthly roundtable discussion group?

me and @jacobeffron had an excellent conversation with @elliotcohen about lots of stuff (how they're building General Medicine, consumer shopping in healthcare, etc.) But there was a particularly interesting part about what it was like building at Amazon post Pillpack acquisition. I think this exchange about how HIPAA is actually very tough to manage when you're in a non-healthcare entity. - You want the same shopping experience (e.g. have my address saved on file, use the same login) but also can’t have those connect to your prescriptions - With shared accounts, you might not want family members to find out some health status based on things you’re buying - Doing suggested search based on health condition We go through some of the specific issues + how you had to change the internal architecture to make that happen. But for all the benefits that people talk about with non-healthcare companies entering healthcare, this is an interesting issue on the flipside.

New: Palantir's CTO and several early employees are raising money to launch Founders Films, a film and TV production studio that aims to "say yes to projects about American exceptionalism, name America’s enemies, back artists unconditionally, take risk on novel IP.”

We asked Sean Liu, partner @foundersfund, about investing in hard tech companies. "The question we always debate a founder on is how many 'need to believe's do you have, to make the thesis work?" "The more 'and' statements there are, the worse it is. We don't like to make those bets." "The cleanest companies (like @generalmatter, @solugen, @neuralink, etc.) have 1-2 of these. You don't need to invent science with very little dependencies."
A large scale cyber attack will be the sputnik moment for AI techcrunch.com/2025/06/09/ma…
there are so many parallels between the ai/semis race (ww3), the nuclear race (ww2), and space race (cold war) and it makes it wonder what the 'sputnik moment' will be. It's probably gonna be some large scale cyber weapon, or a massive misinformation campaign that comes to light

I was with @rrana03_ this AM and a homeless guy came to speak to us for some time. Honestly like a decent, 5-8 min convo. He said we belong in Hollywood and that Indians are also good with computers so we must be well off. Great start to the AM 😂
