Having spent two years attending marches around central London during 2020-22, I can assure you they achieve absolutely nothing. Nobody will hear about them, if they’re reported at all it will be inaccurate, nothing will change. Focus on building parallel systems outside of centralised control. New systems of culture, economy and even governance are the way forward. And don’t expect anyone to do anything for you. Especially not the state.
Wow, utterly shameless

Stewart running cover for the Royals. Plus ca change.
"There are things in the world so massive that the British parliament, and you I'm afraid, are not dealing with... are not gripping" Rory Stewart, former Conservative Minister and co-host of The Rest Is Politics, argues that there's too much focus on Prince Andrew. #Newsnight

I recommend this review on Fabianism Socialism, with @Lewis_Brackpool and @Jay_D007. I thought I knew a lot about it but it filled in many gaps for me, and concisely. It’s unsettling to see permitted attention to Fabianism being used as part of the planned demolition of Starmer, when I’ve been struggling for years to get people to pay attention to it. We’ve reached a dangerous point when latent agendas are allowed to become patent. By their own theories, it means that the Fabians believe that their propaganda has distilled sufficiently into widespread ideology, so that their intentions will no longer be regarded as evil.

AWS is down and then the internet stops working. But the blockchain, it never goe ... wait a minute. Scratch that. This sector is a joke. Everyone preaching decentralization and censorship resistance but in reality ... it's all 100% reliant on the cloud.

The government steals and murders children daily. People pushing for more taxes want the government to have more money. They present this as moral superiority.

I already knew Polanski was bad news. But receiving endorsements from Shola makes it unquestionable.
Zack Polanski hit the ball out of the park - I expect male politicians like @ZackPolanski to be well informed, educated & articulate about his position on women’s rights especially how this informs the policies of his party. This positioning by Carole Malone is ridiculous.

Casey Calista runs Labour Digital, the self described "home of digital and tech policy for Labour Party members and supporters." Labour Digital ran a series of official Labour Party events at their recent party conference. Calista has full access to Labour ministers, including the new AI Minster, Kanishka Narayan. Calista is also a full time employee of Meta (fka Facebook) where she focuses on UK Youth and AI Governance. Does this strike anyone else as a completely inexcusable conflict of interest?

Most unpopular Prime Minister in history? Universally detested by your electorate? Beset by scandals that in any sane world would bring down your government? Don't worry, here's a foreign junket where they'll treat you like an imperial viceroy and lavish you with nothing but praise.
Welcome Prime Minister Keir Starmer on your historic first visit to India with the largest ever trade delegation from the UK. Looking forward to our meeting tomorrow for advancing our shared vision of a stronger, mutually prosperous future. @Keir_Starmer

Here is how the AI bubble is being created, per Bloomberg:
Did Newsnight always feature useful idiots like Oli Dugmore or is this a new thing? Maybe I’m just becoming more discerning in my old age, but I’m sure Paxman in his pomp wouldn’t have tolerated such total nonentities šŸ¤·šŸ¼ā€ā™‚ļø
"You can feed the bigoted dragon as much as your like, but you will never appease it and it will eat you in the end." New Statesman's Oli Dugmore gives "aĀ word of warning to Keir Starmer and his Labour government". #Newsnight

EXCLUSIVE: Over the weekend, I have been contacted by THREE Labour whistleblowers. Their allegations about Morgan McSweeney and his associates are shocking and raise major questions about the nature of Keir Starmer’s rise to power. Here’s what they told me: 🧵

There are growing calls for a criminal case against Morgan McSweeney for failing to declare Ā£739,000 in donations to his ā€œLabour Togetherā€ outfit. But many journalists are missing a bigger question: who MADE the donations? I’ll give you the names they won’t… 🧵
Government response to Digital ID petition: No debate, we're going to do it anyway. "We will introduce a digital ID within this Parliament to help tackle illegal migration, make accessing government services easier, and enable wider efficiencies. We will consult on details soon." petition.parliament.uk/petit…
