It’s India vs Australia in the World Cup, and yet there are loads of empty seats. What gives? I sort of get it for the games when India isn’t playing (although I think that’s not great), but I assumed the stadium would be rammed… #INDvAUS

Considering the logistics involved and organisational manner, don't judge the crowds by stands sights at the toss. It's almost full now and will be packed by the time India bats. Been the same in ENG vs NZ opener where 45K crowd was recorded half through the match

Wait for next week - India vs Pakistan and let me know if you find any empty seats😉

By the end of the match, the stadium seemed quite full. I’m suspecting, they’re avoiding a day time heat

50 overs match is too long. I guess this format is dated now . Cricket match should take same time like basketball or football

Actually, bookmyshow the website to book tickets had actually crashed when bookings opened. Probably, people are tired of watching matches all through the year. IPL matches always full stadium.

People who are really interested are unable to get tickets! They are getting blocked (in order to hike the prices) and eventually they get released too late for it to be useful for anyone!
