When setting gRPC error codes, do the equivalent status codes get set in the HTTP headers? I know there is a conceptual mapping between the two (e.g. chromium.googlesource.com/ex…), but not sure if that means a gRPC server will actually set those codes in HTTP itself

I don't know why anybody finds this surprising or remarkable. My local doughnut café doesn't do metal fabrication and other light engineering works either.

I’m fortunate to get asked to speak at conferences like this often. As a result, I am careful to prioritise events that work to create inclusive and safe opportunities for a wide variety of speakers and attendees.
I had previously declined an invitation to speak back in 2019. At the time I was concerned about the lack of diversity in the speaker lineup. This year, it appeared things had improved.
I will not be speaking at DevTernity on 7th of December as previously planned. Unfortunately it turns out aspects of the conference were misrepresented to me.
It’s India vs Australia in the World Cup, and yet there are loads of empty seats. What gives? I sort of get it for the games when India isn’t playing (although I think that’s not great), but I assumed the stadium would be rammed… #INDvAUS
