As @Zagabond pointed out, having a hold on the creative structure, including the core narrative, is a basic necessity for any IP-related project. At its core, and in its simplest essence, it enables stories to rise above data and numbers, grounding them in the idea of telling the story the way the artists intend.
Holding that source material in a medium as rich as manga allows it to flourish on all sides, as the narrative structures it can take is limited only by imagination and the ability to visualize, making the potential of the worlds and community, unprecedented and vast.
With the medium being easily shareable, and the next natural step being its scale-up into visual media in the form of anime, the world continues to expand with the flow.
Stories don’t just transcend time and space; they also transcend platforms. A strong medium such as manga is one of the most powerful ways to bridge Web2 and Web3, creating space for both. As Web3 “superusers” enjoy elements of exclusivity and relevance through strong community building of their own, the world and its stories expand into the broader terrain of Web2, widening the community and increasing mindshare.

The Sektorverse is the dApp at the heart of Sektor13. Not just a wallet badge, but the place where your NFTs come alive.
At launch you can read and mint manga, and customise your Explorer. Followed by quests, artefacts, and interactive items. This is only the tip of the iceberg.
Once minted, you will land on Olympus, the first floating island. As the lore unfolds, more islands across Sektor13 will open to explore.
Our vision is to make Sektor13 a true storytelling project on Sui, where story and interaction evolve together.

💎 But how about we skip their story and talk about the project?
Sektor13 believes that most NFTs these days serve as "glorified Discord tokens," and that's not a lie. Most NFTs these days serve as access to the project's Discord; it seems like a paid group, haha.
With that in mind, Sektor13 wants to do something different. As a manga studio with that artistic and creative essence, they'll launch interactions outside of Discord, on their dapp (the post's cover photo is a spoiler for their dapp). In the first version of their dapp, you'll find:
- Explore story content
- Read and create manga they publish, such as anthologies, one-shots, and stories
- Buy and apply outfits to the NFTs
- Complete missions to earn outfits and other collectibles
So, basically, at the beginning, we'll explore the story of their initial manga, reading and generating manga (where the manga will become NFTs on the SUI blockchain), purchasing, and other ways You can earn outfits for NFTs (Sektor's NFTs are dynamic and customizable) by completing missions in the dapp using your NFTs.
And all of this will begin on the journey's starting island, called "Olympus." It's the first island of many, and it's on Olympus that you'll understand the universe of Sektor13's first manga and prepare to advance in the manga's incredible story.
