Being trans is one of the most beautiful things in the world: to seek and find the true self.
People who want to destroy trans-ness are trying to destroy beauty.
How anyone could support someone spouting off heinous ideologies, and then declare we need to make more room for such voices, is beyond me.
There is no room at the table for those who wish to purify cultures. We already know what that is.

Cognitive impairment plus reports coming out that it makes folks less efficient really gets me wondering if the hidden costs are something people won't catch at first, and we'll only catch in hindsight. Again, caution seems warranted.

With the data is just coming in about how much damage to cognition AI causes, the right path feels like we should tail off our usage until we understand it better. The last thing we need is for humans to run head-long into something that might be causing long-term damage.
That's... wild. I spent part of the morning looking back through the people I follow. With a couple rare exceptions, no one is here anymore. No one posts here specifically. I knew some folks would migrate, but I didn't expect everyone would be gone.
