We entered YC with $16K MRR. 100% bootstrapped. Today, we’re at $75K MRR, a 4.7× increase in just 6 weeks ( and $1.1M in annualized run rate) and on track to double before the end of the year. It’s been wild watching Parrot evolve from a scrappy experiment into a product people genuinely love using daily. Every day, new users tell us the same thing: “It doesn’t feel like I’m studying. I’m just scrolling.” That’s exactly the point. We’re building the first language app designed for the way people actually spend time on their phones, swiping through short, entertaining videos. Except this time, it’s productive scrolling. We’re just getting started. The retention is improving, the love is real, and the growth is compounding. Super excited to keep talking to users and making Parrot 100x better.

Iris is building an AI personal assistant - I've been waiting for this product for years. It's still early, but what they've built so far is super promising. Check it out!

There's a commercial landlord in San Francisco that is demanding veto rights on "merger, stock, or asset transfers" of a startup tenant. This seems totally insane. Why should the office landlord get to block a startup acquisition?!

It’s @TBPN official! “Philip, @Starcloud_Inc1, and @ycombinator have been completely vindicated!” Thanks @jordihays and @johncoogan 🙏😃🙏
The PPI scandal cost UK banks £36 billion in remediation costs. It's illegal in the US now as well. In Canada, it's still alive and well - "Creditors' Insurance" It's sold by banks in high-pressure sales calls, and around 50-80% of Canadian borrowers take this insurance. It turns a 35% APR loan to >90%. Sales people are getting 80% commission selling this shit. Astonishing 🤯

Today we’re excited to announce we’ve raised a $7M seed round led by Wellington Management, with participation from Y Combinator, Rebel Fund, Pelion Venture Partners and multiple incredible investors and angels who share our vision for the future of customer experience. A huge thank you to Sofia Chesnokova and @TFNBreakingNews for the exclusive feature. A few years ago, my cofounder @avinashjoshi and I were working in the home services industry and saw the same problem again and again: great businesses losing customers because they couldn’t answer the phone fast enough or follow up to retain business. These weren’t customer service issues, they were capacity issues. No amount of staffing or existing software integrations could fix that. So we built @oncactusai , the AI platform for Home Services. Cactus connects to the tools businesses already use and gives them an always-on AI assistant that can answer calls, book jobs, follow up with leads, and personalize every interaction all while learning from real customer data. Our mission is to make world-class customer experience infrastructure accessible to every home service business from local HVAC companies to national brands. We’re just getting started, but the results have been incredible. Businesses using Cactus are capturing more leads, responding 24/7, and scaling faster than ever. Thank you to our customers, partners, advisors, and our remarkable team. We wouldn’t be here without you. - thank you for trusting us to build this. And to the trades and service pros we’re building for: this one’s for you. Big things are coming in 2026. Onward and upward with 🌵. @Wellington_Mgmt | @ycombinator | @RebelFund_VC | @Pelion_VP | @Liquid2V | @BlumeVentures | @pioneer_fund | @TaurusVC | @Stellaris_VP | @rtpvc @t_blom | @garrytan | @koomen | @SashaMac17 | @thogge | @kristymuir | @Alexandraespinal | @jaredheyman | @Robin_Choy | @sanjaynath | @Sumanga | @taro_f | @julianweisser | @davj | @neelmurthy | @jamesfong | @dpusateri0 | @madhurmakkar4 | @shunyamgupta | @Zacchoi | @sharran | @theo

I've been very impressed with the execution and speed of the @gigaml in improving our support AI performance. Thanks Varun and the team for the partnership!
Excited to share our partnership with DoorDash. Together we went from kickoff to real impact — in weeks, not quarters. Highlights: - Time to value: weeks, not quarters - Quality at scale: 90%+ DWR in production - Built for scale: 10B+ lifetime orders, 500K+ merchants, 8M+ Dashers, and hundreds of thousands of daily assistance requests

A lot of people don’t know this, but @gigaml wouldn’t exist without @harjtaggar taking a bet on us.
Giga is quietly growing faster than any company I've ever seen. Doordash chose them for customer support because only their AI agents can handle extremely complex edge cases. Giga agents can call both the customer and Dasher at the same time and listen to both to figure out what to do. It's like Her with less romance but giant ACV's.

There's an annoying type of reply-guy who calls on Grok but then spirals into a argument with a computer when he doesn't get the response he was hoping for. Time to mute @grok I think.

There's obviously some grade inflation going on, but I saw a fascinating trend at Oxford University over the last 80 years. Students in the 1950s had minimal pressure to do well; many came from rich families and had guaranteed incomes regardless of their grades. Hence the "gentleman's third" [class degree]. University admissions and the graduate job market are now hyper-competitive, so the median student at elite institutions now work about 100x harder than before.

Congrats to @Starcloud_Inc1 on the launch of their first satellite, just 21 months from starting the company. This is the first NVIDIA H100 in space and paves the way for huge, solar-powered orbital data centers.
