Just got off the phone with a software engineer. > he shipped 56 apps in last 6 months > he still works his 9 to 5 > has a recent newborn > he works 2 hrs in the morning & night he just hit $10K MRR and it's growing fast. insane numbers... his whole ideology? NEVER GETTING ATTACHED TO HIS IDEAS I asked him how he finds all these ideas and he had a very simple, repeatable approach to finding good ones & building them quickly. please like this message if we should bring him on the channel. what should i ask him?

OK important to mention. 56 apps = 28 x 2 each app is deployed to app store AND google play store separately. these are technically separate "units" that have their own differences, issues, etc so 28 IDEAS in 6 months. still insane numbers.

Please define what an app is. 56 apps in 6 months kind of sounds like someone saying they read 30 books in 30 days .

in this context, it's a live app on iOS app store or android play store these are real mobile apps.

how much of this is revenue? and whats the distribution on of this number on the 28 apps. Is it one app that brings in the majority of the revenue, if yes, I would double down on that.

i didnt get the full numbers but from what i gathered, it was somewhat diversified, however, my guess is there are a lot that make $0

How many of these apps are bought off the shelf? How many of these apps is he he coding wholesale from scratch? How is he promoting, marketing them? How does he integrate payment? There's a difference between having an app and people paying for it consistently.

good questions. his apps generate 10k/mo. no courses or anything I'm gonna get him to share his actual apps

How do you prioritize what you work on for those few hours? How do you stay motivated when results typically take a while to see when working 2 on a project for only 2 hours?

bc he was launching an app pretty much every week, i think his only goal was to build and get it live on app story. this process forced him to ship the bare minimum. something there for sure.

The mindset piece is HUGE... Most people fall in love with their first idea and waste months polishing something nobody wants. This guy treats ideas like experiments, not babies. Ship fast, fail fast, find what sticks

shipping 56 times in 6 months > brainstorming 56 times in 6 months

Maybe he should get attached to some of his ideas lmfao. Bro making 200 dollars per app

The grind is real. I remember pulling all-nighters and surviving on cold pizza when I was balancing side projects with a full-time job.

"has a recent newborn" Yikes. Hope he won't regret

Return on investment not very good. Not sure why people think they need to ship a million apps. Sounds like randomly throwing darts and hoping something sticks. Might get lucky but not a good approach

28 unique apps and only $10k/mo? sounds like an overhead / maintenance nightmare for a minimal return on time

The future isn’t 1 startup → millionaire. It’s 40 micro-SaaS → freedom. Each tool makes $250–$1k MRR. AI builds them. AI markets them. You own the whole fleet.

What did he do for marketing the apps with his limited time?

For that number of apps made in that time frame, means they are developed at the "concept level" probably the barest MVP possible. Which could be understandable as a market test. But I would clarify the difference between a complete app and a MVP.

What does his daily schedule actually look like hour by hour? What’s his MRR breakdown across those 56 apps? What tools or workflows make him that fast?

curious - if this person exists, pls ask for the name of apps and share it here

Two hours in the morning AND night? With those numbers I think he needs to be helping out the kid more 😅 Anyone could ship 56 apps in 6 months if they had 4 whole hours a day

That’s about 20 hours per app which don’t get you very far even with today’s tools. I have a family with 2 young kids, a 9-5, and can barely get to 2 hours/day building apps and def can’t see me shipping more than one a quarter. Would still love the hear his views! Refreshing
