The aftermath of Canada's ostrich slaughter.
The federal police shot 400 individual ostriches suspected of having contracted avian flu after months-long court battles to save the animals.
The CFIA never provided evidence of a widespread avian flu outbreak and independent testing proved the ostriches were healthy.
If you live outside of Canada you're probably wondering why our country went crazy over 400 birds.
Canada is a wacky place and a lot of what we do doesn't make sense to outsiders— especially Americans. As a Canadian myself, mainstream metropolitan Canada often makes me cringe and I find myself praying our ridiculous political trends never escape our borders for fear of the world discovering how naive we really are.
But this issue isn't just about ostriches. It's about a government that has turned authoritarian and is dragging us into a culturally communist hell. The ostrich farm is just another example of how tyrannical our Liberal bureaucracy has become, and the speed at which our freedom is slipping out of our fingers.
It's not just the ostriches. It's the federal eugenics program (MAID), it's our freedom of speech being snatched away from us in censorship legislation, it's our physical freedom being threatened by proposed prison sentences for hate speech violations, it's our climate change obsessed economy that is rapidly failing, it's the astronomical cost of living, it's the inflation, it's the housing crisis, it's the millions of immigrants who were added to our communities while many of us are out of work and struggling to pay our bills.
It's all of it. It's the boiling pot. The ostriches were symbolic of our freedom; our right to live peacefully in the pursuit of happiness.
And our federal police just put bullets in all of them.
So when Canadians have finally had enough and flip the tables, just remember it's about far more than conspiracy theories and "far right MAGA" politics.
It's about survival and it's something that has been building for a very long time.

"That's your Canadian government right there that just did this.
I went to Bosnia, Somalia and Afghanistan and I did not serve my country for this bullsh*t that's in front of us.
The government committed their own a-f*ucking-trocity"
