I would love to hold his hand and give my word that his fight goes on. It does not end here. We will not pass this mess to our children and grandchildren. We will make it right. What a gentle man

There is no way any chancellor should be able to keep their job after making “absolute commitments” like this and then breaking them a year later.

“The same person who now insist on entering women’s locker rooms claiming they have every right to be there is the same person once convicted of serious domestic violence” You cannot make this up! That woman who lost her membership deserves a big apology!

A few years ago, I had a terrifying experience while staying alone in a hotel. At 6am, I was jolted awake by a man trying to get into my room - throwing his weight against the door again and again. I couldn’t reach reception, so I called the police. The call handler stayed on the line, coached me through what to say to get him to leave. Then called hotel reception staff to send help (they were useless) - and rang back later to check I was okay. But hotel staff seemed irritated by the police involvement. When I checked out, they told me it was “just a drunk man" who said he'd got the wrong room. At 6am in the morning. A drunk man who may well have intended to attack or r*pe a woman. Later, a male colleague said he felt I’d overreacted by calling the police. At times, I've wondered if he was right. Today, a friend has told me she’s been diagnosed with PTSD - after a similar incident in a hotel. Only her man stood outside her hotel room m*sturb*ting. He’d seen her earlier that night and knew she was alone. She tried to call reception - but the number on the keycard was wrong. The website too. Like me, she felt trapped in her room - so she called the police. They were brilliant - arrived quickly and arrested him. But the hotel staff barely apologised. The council housing the man in the hotel (despite his criminal record) didn’t seem to care either. Turns out there was no CCTV in the corridors either. And here’s the thing that stays with me: I was made to feel like I’d overreacted. But what I feared - the very thing women are so often told we’re imagining - happened to someone else. Because of course, it does.
Let’s make her famous, she deserves that 🥹❤️
Sick buckets at the ready as Lisa Nandy defends the BBC. Tells you everything you need to know of Labour are defending them.🙄

BBC director-general Tim Davie resigning - good news. This is the start of the end for the BBC licence fee. Make it a subscription service and let the British people decide if they wish to fund such woke insufferable guff. I will certainly not be paying.

To paraphrase Voltaire, those who believe in absurdities can commit atrocities without ever thinking they’re doing anything wrong. What would happen if there were an omnipotent AI that was trained to believe absurdities? Grok is the only AI that is laser-focused on truth.

Lots of world leaders snubbed COP 30 because they were too busy sorting out the problems in their own country. Not @Keir_Starmer – he runs away from the shit show he has created here in Britain and grandstands in Brazil pretending to be a leader!! express.co.uk/news/politics/…

Six weeks ago, I wrote to Tim Davie, then Director General of the BBC, to ask why a Panorama film crew who came to Runcorn to make a documentary about migrants housed in HMOs ignored the testimony of several residents who had suffered crime and anti-social behaviour from those housed in them. It now appears that the rot runs deeper than I thought, but it serves as a reminder that the editing of President Donald Trump’s words was not an isolated incident. A national broadcaster that survives by effectively taxing viewers has no right to give its own version of reality. If you share my view that this behaviour is utterly reprehensible, you can find instructions here on how to declare that you no longer wish to pay the licence fee: tvlicenceonline.co.uk/form #BBC
THE WOKE BBC IS DOOMED It won’t be enough that Tim Davie resigns as Director General The entire organisation is infected with a cancer: it is anti-British, anti-working class, anti-white, anti-West, anti-Trump It’s finally time to #DefundTheBBC telegraph.co.uk/news/2025/11…
"It took me 37 years to look around and realize — I’ve never been disrespected by a white person." "Propaganda is real." He says white folks show him love, while his own community attacks him just for thinking differently.

You are joking!! … They are going to give migrants in hotels money to move out. £100 a week provided on top of the £49.18. Meaning people in this country illegally, will receive MORE money than the Jobseeker’s Allowance of £90.50p per week. What an utter piss take.

A reminder. The BBC worked with a production company for 9 months on the Gaza doc. 9 months of contact - checking sources -asking questions. They saw nothing wrong. They thought they had an award-winning production. So they published it. It took me just 3 or 4 hours to work out their star was the son of a Hamas minister. Which means nobody at the BBC even looked. Nobody. And so they were quickly forced to take down their Hamas propaganda. This is not just about figureheads. While it is good that Tim Davie and Deborah Turness have gone. The rot @bbcnews is not so easily cleansed. There are too many people there who actually believe it is okay to lie for their political (or religious) beliefs -and who think they are ethically, morally and intellectually superior to everyone else. You won't solve that by just replacing someone at the top.
You don't have to be an uncritical fanboy of President Trump to be horrified at just how much lying the media around the world did about him. They said he was involved in election interference while they were the ones doing it!

I'm glad the US President and the rest of the world are seeing the BBC for what it is. Its failure to tell the truth on everything from transgender ideology to economics to Gaza has done huge damage to politics and government in this country. This should be the end of nationalised broadcasting.

The absolute state of this. He flies 6,000 miles on a private jet to enjoy 5-star luxury in a poverty-stricken country while lecturing us on climate change. Meanwhile, back in the UK, the economy is a mess and 1,269 men just breached the border. The man is an embarrassment.
