I know undergrads do some of the reviews for conferences. That's why I'm a bit reluctant to submit to CVPR now, it's been getting worse year by year.
I mean all applicants paid a hefty fee to submit their application materials. At least have some experienced humans to take a look at them before throwing them in the bin right? Those application fees can be the annual gross income of an entire family in a third world country.
I still don't get why PhD *students* are allowed to review applications. I don't think they have the seniority or experience required to do it.
You say that but there's no concrete way to enforce it. Even if there is, it cannot be used as evidence to prove llm is used. We badly need a digital signature system to tag AIGC.
