Evan Myers, who has been credited with helping write Kevin Roberts’ book and is reportedly involved in crafting his public statements, is said to have worked on the video Roberts filmed last Thursday with Ryan Neuhaus. He has also stated that his faith “prevents” him from attending a Shabbat dinner.

He fasts on Fridays. He didn't want to go to a Friday dinner because he fasts. Some Christians participate in Friday Fast in memory of the crucifixion. Such Christians would, thus, prefer not to attend a Friday dinner. This isn't hard to understand.
I do not condone leaking private meetings. This person, no matter the content of the comment, deserved to be able to speak with the expectation that his remarks were private. Let’s assume he a made his remarks from a place of vulnerability and honesty.
He doesn’t feel comfortable attending a Shabbat dinner, and he’s worried that someone will interpret his absence as not supporting efforts to fight antisemitism. I don’t understand the discomfort or religious objection, but this is how he feels. An optional Shabbat dinner is not the only way to stand against antisemitism.
Evan is welcome to come stand with me at the Capital Jewish Museum to protest the antisemitism that took the life of an American girl from Kansas right near his office. She was about to be engaged to a young man, also murdered, who was a close friend and colleague of his Heritage coworkers. This is a perfectly acceptable way to show support. Attending the weddings of Jewish friends is another way to learn about the Jewish community, as is visiting the Bible Museum, the National Museum of Jewish American Military History, or the Holocaust Museum.

Best way I've seen that point put
Women don’t have allies, that’s the category error at the heart of this. Women evolved to compete as individuals against other women (for the best mates & for resources for our children) , whereas men compete in groups, against men from other tribes.
Their groups contain a hierarchy, they’re cognisant of their rank within it, keenly aware of varying levels of capability of different members of their team, willing and able to mentor less experienced peers/subordinates, always cooperating and collaborating in an orderly fashion.
Women literally did not evolve any such skill set, because we don’t have any use for other women in the major endeavours we undertake. Instead we pretend everyone is equal, and that we don’t compete, then we ruthlessly compete in a surreptitious not overt fashion, this is what we do best, that way we minimise exposure to open violence & risk of retaliation.

None of the Republicans running for office were "actual nazis, actual racists, actual misogynists, and actual authorizations" but some of the Democrats were. Insulting members of your own team achieves nothing but ensuring that they will not show up for you. No one switches from Republican to Democrat because a talk show guy interviews a podcast guy or because some kids engage in some offensive banter, but people do walk away when they think you don't have their backs.
Reminding everyone right now that we don't have to share a country with New York, New Jersey, or Virginia.

Republicans will never stop thinking they have to appeal to Democrats to win because the capital is full of them. That culture seeps into you and makes you forget the rest of the country.
