I believe I can give a overview on this question about the venue asked by @TeslaBoomerMama as I have attended the Tesla shareholder meetings from the very first year when there were only 15 people or so. And I support her question. I take the shareholder meetings seriously and I have often asked questions because as a long term investor it is the one time I have the privilege and chance to ask for more insight on the business from the visionary founder and CEO in Elon, of which I have supported from day one. I used to be able to go to the shareholder meeting with just my statement and ID. There was no lottery. As the retail base has gotten gigantic it has been increasingly hard to get an invite or a +1. Every year I have to seek a +1 if I didn’t get one. And this will only get worse as tsla becomes much bigger to 2T, 5T, 8T mrkt cap. The only way to accomodate more people is to have a bigger venue and therefore more people. How much bigger is up to Tesla but the current amount is not sufficient as so many are frustrated that they can’t attend and some falsely believe that only the same people ( big influencers) go because they get an invite which is not true since most people have to rely on their network of people to find someone for their +1. Tesla has definitely and absolutely have increased their security over the years as well as have a bunch of employees supporting the event and shuttling us in. Tesla also expanded their display of products and adding a great factory tour that was not possible to do before. They also added a merch store during the shareholder meeting and handed out cold bottled water. In the early days there was a handful of security at most. They have changed overtime and people who are paranoid have a view limited understanding on how much Tesla has grown and added security over the years. I also attended this year’s Berkshire Hathaway shareholder meeting and with the recent events they also made huge upgrades to their security and had them walking in the aisles checking on the audience during the entire meeting. Tesla will figure out FSD unsupervised and build Optimus and millions of vehicles. I am sure they can figure out the security aspect.
Can you all please stop? 1. Thou shall not fear 2. Tesla will figure this out, man, they make cars fly. 3. If you don't agree, fine, but stay kind.

🇺🇸 Through smoke, surf, and fire two brothers faced the longest day together. Amid the chaos of D-Day, Jack and William fought shoulder to shoulder on the blood-soaked sands of Omaha Beach. They moved as one with courage, and by the will to survive until a single bullet tore their world apart. William fell. Jack ran to him, dragging his brother across the sand, whispering? “I’ve got you, Will. I’ll get you home. But William’s wounds were too deep. Jack held him close refusing to let go and carried his brother’s body back to the boat. “It was the hardest promise I ever kept,” he would say, years later.”🕊️ #WWII #History #DDay

An 88-year-old Vietnam veteran sat weeping in his wheelchair as a judge prepared to condemn his crumbling home. Fines had piled up for repairs he couldn’t afford. Then—something changed. The judge paused, called a recess, and made a few quiet phone calls. When court resumed, he dismissed every fine and announced that local veterans and contractors would fix the house for free. Finally, the stern judge stepped down and hugged the old soldier. “You served us,” he said. “We don’t forget that.” ❤️

"Elon Musk is not an engineer." John Carmack: Elon is definitely an engineer. He is deeply involved with technical decisions at SpaceX and Tesla. He doesn’t write code or do CAD today, but he is perfectly capable of doing so. Robert Zubrin: When I met Elon it was apparent to me that although he had a scientific mind and he understood scientific principles, he did not know anything about rockets. Nothing. That was in 2001, by 2007 he knew everything about rockets – he really knew everything, in detail. You have to put some serious study in to know as much about rockets as he knows now. This doesn't come just from hanging out with people. Eric Berger: Elon is the chief engineer in name and reality. Josh Boehm: Elon is both the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Technology Officer of SpaceX, so of course he does more than just some very technical work. He is integrally involved in the actual design and engineering of the rocket, and at least touches every other aspect of the business. Elon is an engineer at heart, and that’s where and how he works best. Garrett Reisman: He’s obviously skilled at all different functions, but certainly what really drives him and where his passion really is, is his role as Chief Engineer. That’s the part of the job that really plays to his strengths. Tom Mueller: Elon and the Propulsion department are leading development of the SpaceX engines, particularly Raptor. Kevin Watson: Elon is brilliant. He’s involved in just about everything. He understands everything. If he asks you a question, you learn very quickly not to go give him a gut reaction. He wants answers that get down to the fundamental laws of physics. One thing he understands really well is the physics of the rockets. He understands that like nobody else. The stuff I have seen him do in his head is crazy. He can get in discussions about flying a satellite and whether we can make the right orbit and deliver Dragon at the same time and solve all these equations in real time. It’s amazing to watch the amount of knowledge he has accumulated over the years.

AUDACIOUS! But a sour market might keep $TSLA from that $500 goal on 12/12 The plans for a massive chip fab and $10's of billions of spending on compute doesn't compute with the business press. $TSLA is just following the market around today, down almost exactly the same as $NVDA I go through details you might have missed from the shareholder's meeting yesterday

Why $2 trillion in taxes?
Me: “Some random guy” 10% of households control 70% of the wealth, so it’s going to be taxed at highest Federal rate. Federal capital gains tax is 24% on amounts above $250k. Withdrawals on IRAs are at a marginal rate of 32% above $200k Then you have state taxes of 5-13%.
