ARC Raiders just broke its concurrent player count record on Steam again! Almost 400k. This happens almost every day, more than a week after launch. This type of success in gaming is very rare. Huge congrats to Embark!

EXCLUSIVE: Astra Malorum which is releasing with Season 1 of Black Ops 7 will be the long rumored Space Station map. It takes place in an observatory "atop a skull with a red glow in space". I've heard from another source that the map may have some parts that take place on Earth similar to that of Moon but this isn't something I'm 100% on. The Wonder Vehicle seems to be involved in the overarching story beyond just Ashes of the Damned. I have also heard that all of the previously leaked Zombies maps besides the Space Station map and the Japanese Volcano map were cancelled and replaced. The current plan is still 5 DLC maps and there is plans to have a remake amongst those.

A lot of people are having a hard time accepting GTA 6 being delayed for polish. AAA Games have become so big in size and scope that the amount of testing involved has reached astronomical levels. Nintendo spent 1 whole year doing QA on Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom because of its advanced physics and it's nowhere even close to the level and scope of GTA 6!! This is the most ambitious game of all time, with an insane amount of scale and a ludicrous amount of NPC density, there are so many moving parts to game development with a ton of variables and blindsiding curve balls that come up. Fixing one potential problem can cause a cascade of issues in another area and the bigger the game the more this effect is compounded. Something to keep in mind regarding this delay.

Tom Henderson just said on the Insider Gaming podcast that he doesn’t think GTA 6 will be delayed again and that it’s been content complete for a while now. The focus for the next year will be on making it as perfect and as stable as possible to avoid a Cyberpunk situation. He also thinks that if there’s a “single glitch that Rockstar can fix” then the game simply won’t come out. Rockstar aren’t going to release GTA 6 until it’s absolutely perfect. There’s no need to worry about the quality of the game itself when it does eventually come out.
