Because ‘entry-level’ jobs now require 3 years of experience and a PhD in multitasking.

Really BAD

Still way too many open roles. I got myself into a high enough position to influence hiring and openings. Every morning meeting I’m trying to get my company to cut more of these. Really don’t need entry level roles when there’s so much experienced talent out there instead
Replying to @Jackbmeyer
The job market for more experienced talent is also bad. Maybe not as bad as entry level? Overall it is brutal out there.

Most definitely. And also, the job market for white collar workers who are out of work. For both groups, since the start of 2023, it’s become nearly impossible to get a job in their field/specialty. A lot of folks underemployed. This has been largely without AI … so strap in for when AI starts taking REAL effects.

It's so ass. I graduated with 3 internships and a stats degree. Now I work in ops for a social club. Only took it because I was literally not hearing back from anything. This shit is so unfulfilling.

Time to halt “legal immigration”. R’s need to deal with this before the youth turn to full on socialism.
