No woman should have to wonder if the man pouring her drink is a convicted sex offender or out on bail for more alleged assaults. And yet here we are. Mark Holland has a prior sexual assault conviction, a documented history of violating bail conditions, and now faces NEW sexual assault charges — but he’s still back out on release, working VIP booths like nothing happened. This is the same man who breached bail in 2017, fled the country, and had to be hauled back. The same man courts already warned about. The same man now accused again. If this is not a failure to protect women, then what is? If repeat offenders with prior convictions, and a known history of breaching bail still get released back into the exact environment where women are most vulnerable, what does that say about our priorities? Victims deserve safety. Women deserve protection. Communities deserve better. JAIL, NOT BAIL. torontotoday.ca/neighbourhoo…
Community members from across Middlesex-London came together yesterday for a Jail Not Bail town hall, with @Lianne_Rood and @KurtHolmanMP! Canadians are tired of the revolving-door justice system that puts repeat violent offenders back on our streets. For nearly a decade, the Liberal government’s soft-on-crime policies have failed victims, endangered communities, and allowed violence to spiral across the country.
ARE YOU KIDDING? A McMaster student was killed in a coordinated attack, and one of the men involved, originally convicted and ordered deported, is now getting another chance to stay in Canada. It’s MINDBLOWING that our system allows a non-citizen tied to a deadly crime to keep dragging this out years later. If you take part in a serious crime on Canadian soil, you shouldn’t get to remain in Canada. Full stop. Our laws should protect Canadians and honour the lives of victims, not create loopholes that give violent offenders a path to stay. nationalpost.com/news/canada…

Indigenous Veterans Day is tomorrow: Today, we honour the extraordinary courage and sacrifice of Indigenous veterans whose service was too often overlooked, yet whose contributions shaped the freedoms we cherish. For generations, Indigenous men and women stepped forward to defend Canada in times of war, conflict, and peacekeeping. Many volunteered at extraordinary rates, travelled far from their communities, and served with distinction on the front lines of Europe, in Korea, and in missions around the world. Lest we forget.
Out on release after being sentenced for possessing a prohibited firearm and he's now WANTED for breaching his release conditions. Canadians have seen the headline time and time again: another repeat offender out on bail and violating their release conditions. It's time to give criminals JAIL not bail and restore safety to our streets! ctvnews.ca/kitchener/article…
Violent crime has skyrocketed under this Liberal government, and their soft-on-crime approach has turned Canada into a catch-and-release system where violent repeat offenders walk free while communities pay the price Keeping people save should never be partisan It's time to pass the Jail Not Bail Act and restore common sense to Canada's justice system.
This month, we honour the women whose lives were stolen by intimate partner violence, and the families left grieving. Too many survivors come forward only to be failed by a system that puts offenders first. That has to change. Awareness isn’t enough. Survivors deserve safety, dignity, and justice. Let’s honour those we’ve lost by fixing the system that failed them. 💜
Andrew, yesterday you shared your story at committee, not for recognition, but to be a voice for the survivors who may never get the chance to be heard, and to those still fighting a system that too often lets them down. No child should ever face that kind of trauma, and no survivor should feel alone when they find the courage to come forward. Thank you for your honesty, your strength, and your unwavering commitment to protecting children across this country. Survivors deserve a justice system that puts their safety first and takes meaningful action to prevent harm before it happens.
Those who view child sexual exploitation and abuse material must get jail time. Last week’s Supreme Court ruling was disgraceful. Conservatives have tabled a motion calling on the House to reintroduce the mandatory minimum sentence using the notwithstanding clause.
This week, the Liberals handed Canadians a $78-billion deficit budget that breaks all their promises, drives up prices, and forces families to pay more in inflationary spending debt than Ottawa spends on healthcare! Canadians can't afford this recklessness. Conservatives will fight for workers, taxpayers, and an affordable life. Send Ottawa a MESSAGE: conservative.ca/cpc/an-affor…
The Health Minister admitted she doesn’t know how many drug injection sites her department has approved next to daycares and schools, and get this… in classic Liberal fashion she also said it’s not her job to know! Parents deserve better. Communities deserve better. Protecting Canadians, especially our kids should always come before Liberal excuses. blacklocks.ca/no-limits-on-d…
Six masked thugs stormed a Whitby home at 2 in the morning, beat the homeowner with a gun, stole vehicles, and terrorized a family. Three suspects were caught. Three are still on the loose. All three arrested were held for a BAIL hearing, but what's worse is that one of the accused was ALREADY out on BAIL! How many more chances do violent repeat offenders get, while innocent families pay the price? No more revolving-door justice. No more catch-and-release. It's time for JAIL, NOT BAIL so families can sleep safely in their homes. toronto.citynews.ca/2025/11/…
Anyone who possesses or accesses child sexual abuse material belongs in JAIL. Last week’s Supreme Court ruling was a devastating step backward for these young victims. I moved a motion at the Justice committee, urging the government to use the Notwithstanding Clause to bring back mandatory minimums for these sick pedophiles. Watch: 👇
Conservatives pushed for a budget that makes life affordable again. Instead, the Liberals delivered a plan full of HIGHER costs and even more DEBT. Our amendment would have taken real action: scrapping hidden taxes, cutting waste, removing red tape, and opening the door to more affordable homes. But when the moment came, Liberals chose political games over helping Canadians and voted it down.
Child predators don’t need sympathy—they need jail. Yet today, Liberals on the Justice Committee refused to support our motion demanding the government reinstate mandatory minimum sentences for child sexual exploitation. Their idea of action? Write a letter to the Minister. A letter—to respond to pedophiles. It’s weak. It’s disgraceful. And it’s an insult to every victim and survivor who deserves action, not excuses.
🚨TODAY🚨 Conservatives will move a motion at the Justice Committee calling on the Liberals to reinstate mandatory minimum sentences for child sexual exploitation. The Supreme Court says jail for these predators is “cruel and unusual.” THAT IS OUTRAGEOUS! Invoke the notwithstanding clause, put the rights of children ahead of the rights of predators. Protecting kids is not negotiable.

When Stephen Harper left office in 2015, Canada had a balanced budget and a budgetary surplus. After a DECADE of Liberal mismanagement, we’re drowning in debt! Carney’s new budget BLOWS past Trudeau's deficits: $90B in extra spending, $78B deficit, collapsing investment, and record-high debt costs! Canadians deserve an affordable life, not more reckless debt. Conservatives will fight for lower costs, balanced budgets, and a secure future: conservative.ca/cpc/an-affor…
