Well if a federal district court judge can order money to be spent without congressional appropriation (🤡), Why can’t said judge just order the democrats to vote to open the government? 🤡🤡🤡 (Each option is equally absurd)
🚨 A judge just ordered the administration to make FULL SNAP payments tomorrow. As he said, “irreparable harm continues by the minute.”

Has it? You should educate yourself on this litigation and not just read the headlines from CNN This judge directed the executive branch to pull funds from elsewhere -Section 32 of the Agricultural Adjustment Act of 1935 - which is NOT the SNAP reserve fund

Not sure how a judge can pull money out of his ass. This will be interesting.

Damn, Phil, quite a post just to say you don’t know what you’re talking about. Emergency funding is available, so you’re either ignorant or a liar.

You seem very sure of yourself. However, this judge directed the executive branch to pull funds from elsewhere -Section 32 of the Agricultural Adjustment Act of 1935 - which is NOT the SNAP reserve fund

The $$ have already been appropriated to the emergency fund
Nope. The SNAP emergency fund does exist but that’s not the point of the post The court ordered tapping into additional funds from Section 32 of the Agricultural Adjustment Act of 1935 - which is not SNAP and is money allocated for other things

Maybe the judge should order Congress back into session and remain there until they reopen the government. Pass a reduced balance budget and clear their backlog of pending bills. He/she should also take away their pay until this is completed.

There is NO money, you idiot ! I know that's a concept that blinkered democrats don't understand, but that's reality, and that is because YOU democrats refuse to fund the government !

Has Judge ordered that the Appropriations Clause in the Constitution is null and void? “The Appropriations Clause is found in Article I, Section 9, Clause 7 of the U.S. Constitution This clause ensures that only Congress has the authority to allocate federal funds, maintaining a system of checks and balances between the legislative and executive branches.” So now President Trump must take money from anywhere to fund SNAP since the Clause is null and void--even from foreign aid and Congressional paychecks?

We should just turn it all over to the black robes! It will be awesome. Maybe one black robe likes daylight savings and another doesn't so we could have different times within the same time zones based on circuits. We could find a judge to decide the minimum wage is 100 dollars and hour or perhaps we could even find a judge to agree with me that deficit spending is generational theft and should be unconstitutional.

"Congress holds the purse strings". Right? I hear it over and over. Especially in regard to tariffs. Seems like Democrats are quite eager to let "judges" run the country.

Movant's emergency motion for a nuclear strike upon Russia, having been considered by this Court, after hearing and notice to all parties; it is hereby Ordered that Trump shall launch a limited nuclear strike against Moscow, only, within 10 hours of this order. So Ordered, Judge xyz.

If one judge can use his section 3 authorities to tell the section 2 officer to act, (spend) what stops another random section 3 judge to order the first judge to knock it off?
The Judge and Democrats are trying to bait @POTUS into breaking the law. They want him to step outside his Presidential powers so they can try to impeach him.

You are 100% correct. This is ridiculous attempted overreach by the judicial branch. Has become the norm…

The activist judges will soon be writing the laws, telling congress to vote for them and tell the President to enforce their "laws". But, No Kings, right? @SpeakerJohnson Defund the courts.

Apparently inferior court judges wield the powers of both the Legislative and Executive branches. Who knew? "No Kings" indeed.

Have you seen the percentage of households receiving SNAP benefits based on ethnicity ? Top 3 : Afghan 46% , Somali 42% , Iraqi 35% . Some may be American citizens but I am willing to bet their grocery store tab that we are paying they are not. PBD had this information last week .

Why can’t the Judge just Order the Government open? Who needs a vote?
Replying to @PhilHollowayEsq
Why hasen't anyone sued on behalf of the workers who are forced to be slaves?
Well, apparently he can appropriate funds without congressional approval. Why not enact legislation without congress as well. Heck, he should be able to decide court cases while he’s at it. The democrats are trying to make Trump a king.

Brilliant idea! Congress won’t do its job so the judiciary orders the executive branch to take over the job of Congress!

We should have a judge order people not to commit crimes, like election fraud. Also, they should order people to stop being fat, and to be smart. Who knew it was that easy?
