We’re excited to announce our official partnership with @askalphaxiv to advance open-source research together. alphaXiv is one of the leading research platforms making it easier than ever to discover and parse through cutting-edge work in an era where AI research is progressing at a blistering pace, ushering in a new age of open academic discovery. Together, we’ll host ongoing community talks and spaces around open-source research, model security, and agent architecture, helping builders learn directly from the researchers and engineers pushing the frontier forward. Also, the alphaXiv community will be directly involved in bringing their research ideas to life through Sentient’s open-source foundation. As alphaXiv evolves into a true hub for global research, where you don’t just read papers, but also leverage datasets, benchmarks, and run easily reproducible experiments—we’re excited to partner with them and accelerate open-source AI development. Our shared goal is simple: make open research the fastest path to real progress. Open-source AI 🤝 open research.
The agentic economy needs real world proofs, programmable payments, and credible routing. With Chainlink CRE, Sentient agents can tap verified price feeds, macro data, and cross chain state, then coordinate and settle autonomously. This plugs our open models into secure execution so agents think with proofs, respect constraints, and act with guardrails. A concrete step toward an open, verifiable agentic economy.
The Chainlink Runtime Environment (CRE) is powering orchestration for secure and scalable agentic workflows to unlock next-gen applications using crypto & AI. How 7 leading platforms are leveraging CRE for AI-powered workflows ↓ First, a quick primer on CRE: CRE provides an all-in-one orchestration layer for building end-to-end institutional-grade smart contracts—smart contracts that are easily connected to external data, cross-chain enabled, compliance-ready, and privacy-preserving, which are able to securely interoperate across thousands of public and private blockchains, existing identity systems, and core financial infrastructure. • x402 by @coinbase is now the first AI payments partner to enable agents to autonomously pay for CRE workflows. The Coinbase Developer Platform (CDP) gives AI agents access to crypto wallets to perform onchain actions and make programmatic payouts via x402. • @SentientAGI is a partner AI lab building powerful open-source AI systems, including ROMA, OpenDeepSearch, and Sentient Chat. Sentient can leverage all Chainlink's data – Asset Prices, Macroeconomic data, and other real-world data and CRE capabilities like interop, payments, and consensus, which are then integrated into customized powerful AI agents. This enables AI to make smarter decisions based on onchain proofs and coordinate intelligence across Web3 and Web2 environments. • @gizatechxyz adopted CRE as the orchestration layer for reading onchain events and triggering agent logic focused on stablecoin yield optimization for USD1, dynamically deploying the stablecoin from World Liberty Financial across DeFi to maximize yield. This enables Giza’s yield optimization products, Arma and Pulse, to execute yield strategies across both stablecoins and other blue-chip DeFi assets. • Chaos Chain (@Ch40sChain) is integrating CRE the Chainlink Runtime Environment to provide a set of pre-checks for any payment flow. Agentic pre-checks can significantly decrease the number of third-party API calls, reduce latency, and enable businesses to trust agents with real value, allowing them to discover, collaborate, and pay each other via the x402 standard. • @codecopenflow is integrating the Chainlink Runtime Environment (CRE) with its CodecFlow SDK (OPTR) to power MechaShip, a decentralized delivery network. CRE acts as the event-driven orchestration layer, automatically reacting to onchain DeliveryRequested events to discover available mechas (via ERC-8004), request quotes (via x402), and rank agents. OPTR enables the autonomous mechas to register, calculate dynamic pricing, and maintain real-time status via heartbeat monitoring. • @ampli_inc is using the CRE for signing operations and powering its trusted execution environment to verify and authorize AI agent requests. The CRE enables agents to operate within guardrails and customizable policies that allow for compliant and secure operating environments. • ElizaOS leverages the Chainlink Runtime Environment (CRE) via its Spartan agent to power AI-driven execution. This enables the agent to autonomously manage liquidity, execute cross-chain arbitrage, and monitor protocol risk using real-time, on-chain data. SENTIENT RESEARCHER SPOTLIGHT: Peiyao Sheng Peiyao earned her PhD in Computer Science at UIUC advised by Pramod Viswanath, was a visiting researcher at Princeton, and previously studied in the ACM Honors Class at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. One of our earliest researchers on the team @peiyaosheng works at the intersection of decentralized systems and AI agents, designing mechanisms that make open networks secure, governable, and measurable, then pressure-testing how agents behave atop those primitives. At Sentient, she contributed to OML 1.0 (Fingerprinting) and evaluation efforts like LiveCodeBench Pro, while advancing agent-security (fatal context-manipulation attacks on online/Web3 agents) and governance reasoning. Her research portfolio spans cryptoeconomic security and forensics for distributed ledgers—Proof of Diligence for rollups, BFT protocol forensics, TrustBoost for cross-chain trust, ACeD data-availability oracles, unconditionally safe light clients, proofs of backhaul for bandwidth attestation (NDSS ’24), and PoLoc proofs of location. This theme carries into practice: she co-founded Witness Chain to unify the DePIN economy and has industry experience at Chainlink Labs (with Dahlia Malkhi). Across papers and systems, her north star is clear: build cryptographically sound, auditable foundations so open models and agents can operate safely at scale.

From top universities and companies, our research team has developed leading technology across models, agents, reasoning, benchmarks, and AI security. Here’s a recap of our star team in case you missed it. Meet the team that landed 4 papers in @NeurIPSConf across different tracks 🧵
We’re excited to announce that @NeurIPSConf—the biggest AI conference in the world—has accepted 4 of our papers across various categories. Some might even call it “full-stack excellence” 😁 Here’s a sneak peek at our work that’s been recognized for their breakthroughs: ➡️ OML 1.0 (Main Track): scalable LLM fingerprinting—a hundredfold improvement on legacy fingerprinting attempts for open models, injecting 24,576 persistent prints while the previous max was ~100 fingerprints…without any drop in model performance. ➡️ LiveCodeBenchPro (Data & Benchmark Track): our customized benchmark focusing on programming ability, illustrating the true capabilities of models’ coding performance. On this benchmark, we were able to create models 10x smaller, using 20% of the data, to achieve comparable results to competing models. ➡️ MindGames Arena (Competition Track): selected by NeurIPS to run an AI competition for agents to improve themselves through social games. The next paradigm of AI improvement comes through self-optimization, and we’re extremely excited to be hosting this first-of-its-kind competition to create self-improving AI. ➡️ OML (Workshops & Tutorials—Lock-LLMs): our work established the challenge and solution around model security: a primitive that lets builders develop open models with verifiable, cryptographically enforced control under white-box access. Stay tuned for deep-dive threads throughout the week!
