There's a von Mises society in Oxford? Perhaps all is not yet lost. Unless it was Oxford Mississippi.

We should remember, whilst waxing lyrical about Oxford, that it was here that Bloody Mary tried to snuff out the Reformation (a triumph of liberty) by burning Cranmer, Latimer & Ridley. Many Oxford academics & students must have been amongst the crowd.

Very good read. I would caution, however, that Reform's (and UKIP's) embrace of libertarianism is often at odds with its electorate. This hasn't been an issue historically, but now, for a party of potential government, it could prove to be a crux

you can't have free trade with communist countries, you will inevitably end up doing what they do.
