It interesting that you mention the sea level rise as the result of the climate change. The recent sea level rise has been happening at a constant rate since 1850s, well before any CO2 increases or dT were observed. This puts the concept of CO2-driven climate change in doubt.

Ocean heat content has been rising fairly constantly since 1750, after falling fairly constantly from about 1000-1700, from substantially higher than now. science.org/doi/full/10.1126…

Wow, very interesting! Do they discuss any potential causes of the warming post-LIA? It’s almost as if a switch got flipped around 1800.
