Windows on Arm is finally getting ready for gaming! Fortnite now runs on Snapdragon-powered Windows PCs. It's one of the major changes being rolled out to Windows on Arm PCs. Recently, Microsoft also enabled new CPU features for Windows on Arm emulation tech called 'Prism.' It now exposes AVX/AVX2, which allows high-performance computing. This enables support for game engines and resource-intensive apps that expect AVX and won’t start without it. You’ll see big gains in compatibility and mixed results in speed. Unlike traditional PCs, Snapdragon PCs offer up to 22 hours of battery life with no drop in performance when unplugged.

20 hour battery life I would love that :) I had to change so many bios settings and win settings to make my thinkpad ryzen cpu last 6 hours on regular use :)
"Western values. The collapse of illusions" (2024, 100 x 100 cm) I lived most of my life in the USSR and Russia, and then moved, as I thought at the time, from the "Sovok" and the "Criminal Russia" to a civilized world, a blooming garden with its freedom, democracy, the inviolability of private property, independent courts, security, cleanliness, and order. However, soon I experienced a severe disiappointment in my illusions (the train of illusions derailed amidst the crumbling cities). And I decided to say goodbye to rotting Europe and leave it. Maybe I'll come back to Russia or will move to Asia. Anyway, I have already withdrawn my money from Europe. P. S. The inscription in Russian "Я" means "I", and "мои деньги" means "my money".

That's a massive step forward for Windows on Arm and its gaming potential! 🎮 Besides Fortnite, are there any other major AAA titles confirmed to be running well on Snapdragon PCs right now, and how does Microsoft's 'Prism' emulation compare in performance to Apple's Rosetta 2 when running x86/x64 apps that require AVX/AVX2? 🤔

Kalo Gold Corp. (TSXV: $KALO.V) has just made one of Fiji’s most significant gold discoveries in years. From the heart of the Pacific, Kalo’s latest drill hole VA25-DH11 returned 22.12 metres grading 12.80 g/t Au, including 10.05 metres at 25.10 g/t and 1.00 metre at 83.30 g/t at the Qiriyaga Complex within the Vatu Aurum Project. President & CEO Terry L. Tucker, P.Geo., called the result “a significant step forward” validating Kalo’s diatreme-margin targeting model and confirming a high-temperature epithermal system. With sixteen additional targets identified across the Aurum Epithermal Field, this breakthrough could mark the start of a district-scale discovery in one of the Pacific’s most underexplored gold frontiers.

I tested the New Microsoft surface for my company and I absolutely loved the battery life and lack of heat. Unfortunately it had issues with our vpn client and some custom scripts started failing. If they can get the x86 emulation as good as Apple, buying it is no brainer

That’s… Actually kinda neat, but I’m not getting a ARM laptop Not yet at least

It's like trying to play modern games on old Phenom chips. It will be a mixed bag but worse since no pc games ran on arm other than mobas to begin with. Arms is why phones suck.
