Felix (aka @PewDiePie) is low key at the frontier of AI research building himself a "council" of competing LLMs that have a genetic-algorithm-like process for replacement. His "tech" phase is honestly amazing. From Linux -> GPUs -> AI, so good 🔥 piped.video/watch?v=qw4fDU18…

.@code_report's Parrot, a C++ parallel array-based library with implicit fusion using CUDA/Thrust, was launched today at @cppunderthesea!
It's the culmination of 3 years of work by Conor.
This is the best way to write GPU-accelerated algorithms in C++!

Tried out Co-dfns APL compiler for the first time today. For a simple softmax calculation, it generated 3.7M CUDA kernels... that is... pathologically bad 😳 @arcfide 🤔🤔🤔
I'm proud to say that @nvidia is the founding sponsor for @cppunderthesea, the best C++ conference out there.
With our shared values and the conference's GPU track, this was a natural fit.
I'll see you in Breda in a few weeks!
.@code_report and I had a great time at the Roku Engineering Symposium and Copenhagen C++ Meetup over the last two days! We even had an impromptu @adspthepodcast road trip.
Next week we'll be at NDC TechTown to teach CUDA courses!
