I think the first step in dismantling trans ideology for the public *when everyone's ready for that conversation* will involve making it clear that what they know as "trans" is not all one thing, it's a bunch of different phenomena.
When the gender Berlin wall comes down, and free speech is restored, this will be the first taboo that will need to be addressed for uninitiated citizens fleeing woke totalitarianism.
All "types of trans" are various types of mental illness (or at least extreme distress), all distinct but with "social sex roles" playing a central part, and the participation of others implied.
It will take a long time to convince most people that there is no such thing as true trans, and some people may never get there. This is thanks to old polite lies that very committed autogynephiles wrangled out of the legal system decades ago. It's hard to accept that they got so duped.
"Trans" is self-deception, adopted by a bunch of different categorisable demographics, each category with its own recognisable shared traits, and who for a variety of reasons use it to relieve a variety of types of mental anguish.
It was never real, it is not real.
