Move to the mountains Get a dog & chickens It’ll change your life
Day 1 at #sema covering for #revvadas 🫡
Added characters to Let’s Get Dimsum :) I thought this would take me an hour to manually update, turns out @Replit can also research Chinese characters and implement within 5 minutes 🫡

Moved up to the mountains of Vegas, we’re about 8500ft up and 25-30degree cooler than the city 🥶
Living somewhere with clean air will soon become the top consideration where to move to as we become more aware of the dangers of air pollution
My first ever app is live on iOS 🥹 Let’s Get Dim Sum is visual app that helps you learn and order Dim Sum dishes like a pro. It currently has 28 dishes and I’ll be adding pronunciations for each dish in version 2 🤤

I built letsgetdimsum.com for moments like this 🫡
Who’s hiring (jr remote roles, open to eu move) > 13yr video producer / graphics > former analyst > started vibe coding 3 months ago > launched 2 projects since ❤️

1 like and i'll submit a Dim Sum food app to @ProductHunt
> mock up your site on canva/figma > attached said screenshots > have 2-3 fonts pairing (use chat for recs) > have CLEAR directions/explanations when telling the AI > profit?
How to make your app not look vibecoded and have a clean design: > Use rork (best AI app builder) > Get inspired by apps with cool UI > Attach screenshots to rork so it builds your app based on that design > Use an original font I did exactly that and my app looks like this:

My apple dev friends kept telling me to learn binary code. I learned more going into codebase and manually coding little things vs 10hrs of sitting down with an actual dev. 🤐
Unpopular opinion: You’ll learn to code faster by vibe coding every day than by taking any course
In a span of two weeks: - had an idea - built that idea - that idea is live on the iOS App Store. You can just do things when you have @Replit and @expo
My first app was literally just to see if I can do it or not. Turns out I can.
Your first app won’t make you rich. But it’ll change you. Because now you’ve proven you can turn ideas into reality.
