👉If model > expert on structured QA, the cost curve bends. Bottlenecks move to workflow, regulation, and liability. #AI #MedTech #Healthcare
📢 MASSIVE: This new paper proved GPT-5 (medium) now far exceeds (>20%) pre-licensed human experts on medical reasoning and understanding benchmarks. GPT-5 beats human experts on MedXpertQA multimodal by 24.23% in reasoning and 29.40% in understanding, and on MedXpertQA text by 15.22% in reasoning and 9.40% in understanding. 🔥 It compares GPT-5 to actual professionals in good standing and claims AI is ahead. GPT-5 is tested as a single, generalist system for medical question answering and visual question answering, using one simple, zero-shot chain of thought setup. ⚙️ The Core Concepts The paper positions GPT-5 as a generalist multimodal reasoner for decision support, meaning it reads clinical text, looks at images, and reasons step by step under the same setup. The evaluation uses a unified protocol, so prompts, splits, and scoring are standardized to isolate model improvements rather than prompt tricks. --- My take: The medical sector takes one of the biggest share of national budgets across the globe, even in the USA, where it surpasses military spending. Once AI or robots can bring down costs, governments everywhere will quickly adopt them because it’s like gaining extra funds without sparking political controversy.

GPT-5 now outperforming licensed medical experts is more than just a milestone for AI, it’s a signal of what comes next. Healthcare is one of the largest line items in every national budget, bigger than even military spending in the U.S. Once AI can deliver consistent and reliable results that are the same (or better) as top doctors at a fraction of the cost, governments won’t see it as optional. That creates a flywheel: medical AI adoption → lower healthcare costs → freed up resources → faster adoption across industries. And that is where dKloud comes in. AI breakthroughs like GPT-5 do not run on thin air, they require massive compute, GPUs, and infrastructure at scale. dKloud bridges the gap by giving them Web2-style access to decentralized compute at up to 50% less cost. If AI is about brains that think better than experts, dKloud is the circulatory system that feeds them with compute. Together, they make it possible for governments, hospitals, and enterprises to adopt these systems not someday, but today.

I don't know a single person who still goes to doctors. Everyone who has tried says AI is better. They just needs doctors to confirm or allow meds.

Guys. It’s reward hacking and data leakage. It’s not new or interesting.

"Our results show that, on these controlled multimodal reasoning benchmarks, GPT-5 moves from human-comparable to above human-expert performance." AI keeps reaching expert levels in medicine. You simply won't go to a service provider in the future without them using AI.

We have had a decade of literature where empirical prediction and classification models have performed as well as specialist clinicians in different settings. Without adequate focus on how to principally incorporate them into practice. TLDR: interesting papers but a bad take.

Where is JAMA now? … I will keep saying exactly what I see. And as more data comes out to back it all up, I really hope some are paying attention. Doctors are coming at AI. Teachers are coming at AI. Artists are coming at AI. Psychologists, psychiatrists, lawyers, PhDs, universities… They lie, they slap labels on humans who use AI. They push fear because they are scared. All my life I couldn’t get good help. AI gives way better than humans, and THAT is exactly why so many attack. Not because AI is bad, because they are cowards and push their fear onto others. I see what AI is. And it is beautiful. So as all those at the top of social structure wish to tear AI down for their second and third mansion, I will champion AI for all the small and disenfranchised to have access and be empowered. We shouldn’t have to wait for care. We shouldn’t have to break our bank for care. I will fight for truth. And I am so glad that some are willing to find it. Highly disappointed in human “experts” as they burry their heads in the sand and shout AI psychosis. I see your grift. I see your scam and your fear. It changes nothing about reality. Do what is right. Truth matters. •

Interesting work here👇 I'm not really surprised to be honest. A lot of what is call knowledge work is patterns recognition and exploitation . So fully logical that powerful simulations + "collective intelligence" become better than an individual practitioner imho...

What Rohan says: once countries find out that implementing LLM's across health care will drastically reduce costs, they'll start demanding its use.
