I wish we has a much more professional security establishment. Words have every clear definitions in a professional setting; in a political setting, not so much.
Extremism, to a security and defence professional, has always meant a willingness to use violence to serve a political cause. It is essentially synonymous with terrorism.
Extremism, to a left-wing radical, means "unnacceptable views" (i.e. impediments the Left's agenda).
Family values are not terrorism, but the RCMP would have us beleive otherwise.
The RCMP are clearly in the business of spinning security incidents to advance the Left's political agenda (e.g. Portapique).
Mao probably didn't personally murder anyone, his public service did.
Canada is in very dangerous territory, right now.
